Sony has always made its mark in the gaming industry with its game consoles. After the success of PS2 which was released in the year 2000, Sony decided to go a step further in the gaming industry with the introduction of Sony PlayStation 3. It is basically the third home video game console produced by Sony computer entertainment. It is in direct competition with Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo Wii, as part of the seventh generation of video game consoles.

Sony PS3 comes with a 3.2 GHz multi-threaded processor, a custom NVIDIA “RSX” graphics processor.
Sony PS3 comes with numerous accessories such as Sixaxis and Dualshock 3 wireless controllers. As discussed earlier about Sony PlayStation network, through which the user can download thousands of free PlayStation games. Sony PS3 also introduced the concept of creating an avatar character for its PlayStation 3 system.
A total of 12 titles were introduced along with PS3 on November 12, 2006 in North America which featured Fall of Man, a first-person shooter game that was rated as the best-selling game. A total of 24 titles were introduced in Europe, including games not offered in North America. In the early stages of the PS3’s introduction, it was criticized by many websites and reviewers on the basis of the high price and small number of launch games. However, after several price revisions, it began to receive better reviews.
If you want to experience high-quality gaming experience and feel the ecstasy of gaming along with eye-catching graphics, choose Sony PS3. Although it is a little higher cost-wise, but for a gamer it is good value for money. Therefore, I strongly recommend that you go for Sony PS3 instead of Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo Wii.
